The warm, hand-carved details and faded gilding bring a quiet, grounded presence to intimate wall spaces.

These are surviving fragments from a traditional timber-framed structure, dating to circa 1920. Arranged in an inverted triangle, the top pair of smaller square panels features central floral medallions, while the larger lower panel depicts a traditional vase overflowing with blossoms — a classic motif symbolizing abundance, hospitality, and beauty. Each fragment retains its original crimson lacquer and remnants of hand-applied gold leaf, a surface shaped by a century of natural aging. The rich, faded gilding and deep patina are not flaws, but the fingerprints of history, impossible to replicate today.

Mounted on a solid wood backplate with a 2 cm floating gap, the piece is ready to hang with pre-installed hardware. Overall dimensions: 50 cm W × 50 cm H.
