Description:
Presenting a magnificent matching pair of vintage Chinese hardwood circular display stands (or pedestals). Crafted from dense, richly grained Huali Rosewood with a beautiful, warm reddish-brown patina and clear "ox-hair" grain, these stands are perfect for displaying small incense burners, teapots, jade carvings, or miniature bonsai.

The most striking feature is the meticulously carved "chrysanthemum petal" (菊瓣纹) pattern adorning the apron, creating a beautiful ribbed, three-dimensional texture. Each stand rests on five elegant cabriole legs ending in scrolling ruyi feet, connected by a five-sided stretcher. The tops feature a classic "floating panel" design. Both are built using traditional mortise-and-tenon joinery.

Condition: Excellent condition. The wood is solid and sturdy with a beautiful natural patina. The delicate carved aprons are crisp and fully intact. Minor surface wear consistent with age and use. No structural damage. Please refer to all photos for exact condition.
