Presenting a magnificent and highly decorative vintage Chinese hardwood display stand, also known as a "Bogujia" (Curio shelf).

Crafted from dense, richly grained Huali Rosewood with a beautiful, warm reddish-brown patina, this stand features a stunning, rare "Plum Blossom" (five-lobed) outer silhouette. The interior is divided into a staggered arrangement of asymmetrical shelves, designed to elegantly display small treasures, snuff bottles, teapots, or miniature sculptures.

A small, functional drawer is cleverly concealed in the lower section, featuring intricate carved scrolling vines and a brass pull. The stand is built using traditional mortise-and-tenon joinery, ensuring structural integrity.
