Cobalt ground with extensive gilding. Hand painted courting scenes. Appears to be French, in the style of Sevres. Unsigned. Stands 8.5" tall (with lid), 8.5" wide at the handles and 6" deep. This item is in good antique condition with no chips or cracks. Minor loss of gilding with overall fading. The handle to the lid has been repaired. The top was reattached with crazy glue. Please see photo with pencil. The bond seems strong. The lid does not sit flush with the rim. Please examine all photos closely. See less
