The woven rush seat remains tight, uniform, and completely intact with no broken strands, fraying, or sagging, which is rare for a piece of this age. Paint & Finish: The vibrant poppy red paint shows light, natural distressing and minor scuffs along the edges, corners, and legs. This minor wear is consistent with age and gives the piece its sought-after rustic charm. Artwork Quality: The hand-painted blue and white floral motifs on the back splats are well-preserved and clearly legible, showing minimal fading or paint loss. less
