The set includes … Read more Set of six vintage Postmodern dining chairs with a really fun, unusual shape and colorful abstract upholstery. The set includes four side chairs and two end chairs with higher armrests, giving the two end chairs a little more presence at the heads of a dining table.

The chairs are fully upholstered from top to bottom, including the tall backs and wide legs. The fabric has an abstract painterly pattern with a mix of aqua, teal, blue, lavender, soft pink and bronze/gold tones. The placement of the pattern varies from chair to chair, so no two are exactly alike.

The tall curved backs and chunky upholstered legs are what really make this set stand out. They have a great sculptural look without being too over the top, and the two different chair styles make the whole set look especially nice around a dining table.

These would look great with a glass or stone table that lets more of the chairs show, but they're definitely enough of a statement to completely change the look of a room on their own.

CONDITION: These are in really nice vintage condition overall and were very lightly used over the years—only sat in for about an hour once or twice a year, if that. The upholstery still shows beautifully, especially considering the age of the set. Because the fabric has such a busy abstract pattern, any possible notice of vintage wear blends naturally into the design. No tears or areas of damage/defects. As with any vintage set, each chair has its own small variations, so please look through all photos closely for condition. See less
