The composition has a wonderfully graphic quality, with strong brown architectural outlines set against a warm ochre-gold ground and accented with cream, pale blue, brick red, and muted yellow.

The simplified geometry, flattened perspective, and decorative treatment of the windows and architectural details give the work a distinctly 1960s–1970s modernist / folk-modern feel.
