The work has Even’s characteristic textured, graphic handling, with a muted palette of blue-gray, cream, olive, and charcoal accented by the vivid red boat in the foreground. The surface has a distinctive waxy, layered quality that gives the landscape a tactile, almost mosaic-like appearance.

Signed “André Even” at lower left.

The reverse bears handwritten French dealer or gallery notations, including “vendu” (“sold”) and what appears to read “600F,” likely referring to a historical sale price of 600 French francs. Additional handwritten notations are present but are partially illegible.

Presented in its vintage frame with a green velvet liner and a distressed blue-green and gilt outer molding. The framing complements the coastal palette beautifully and appears to have some age.
