The rich texture of the elm burl defines the table top, with the grain arranged in a radial pattern that highlights the knots and natural variations in the wood. The almost circular profile is enlivened by a slight wavy edge, highlighted by a thin dark band. The base is composed of four slender birch legs, slightly arched outward and connected to the top by a shaped band. The contrast between the expressive surface of the elm burl and the essentiality of the structure is characteristic of Swedish Modern production from the 1940s. Good condition.
