Swedish oak sofa with removable cushions recently reupholstered in light-colored fabric. Original Bodafors brand. Folke Ohlsson, 1962.
Designed by Folke Ohlsson, the "Monterey" sofa expresses the lightness of 1960s Swedish design through an open oak frame, punctuated at the back by thin vertical elements. The softly contoured armrests flow seamlessly into the uprights, while the removable cushions reveal the frame's architecture. Made in Sweden by Svenska Möbelfabrikerna Bodafors in 1962, it retains the original branding with designer, manufacturer, country, and year of production. The upholstery has been recently reupholstered in light-colored fabric. Good condition. May show signs of wear. Please refer to the photographs carefully. This piece has an attribution mark,
