The large oval teak tabletop characterizes this Bertil Fridhagen table, with a broad, continuous surface that ends in two softly rounded ends. The teak grain runs across the tabletop, creating a graphic rhythm that contrasts with its longitudinal extension. The underlying structure remains light and discreet, supported by four slender, slightly tapered legs connected by a recessed band. The spacious surface and the essential base thus find a balance thanks to the quality of the wood and the precision of the proportions. The original Bodafors branding, "Design B. Fridhagen – Made in Sweden 1961," is preserved under the tabletop, allowing for a precise dating of the piece. Originally extendable, the extension is now missing. Good condition.
