Dating to the 1930s-1940s, this European-made wall mirror is distinguished by its slender shield-like silhouette and lightweight construction. The shaped panel is free from a traditional perimeter frame, a solution that enhances the purity and continuity of the distinctive profile. The straight sides connect to the concave curves at the top and bottom through shaped corners, creating a balanced and recognizable geometry. The mirror is attached directly to a wooden backing and held in place along the perimeter by small exposed metal elements, discreet details that contribute to the refined simplicity of the design. The back retains its wooden frame and metal wire suspension system. Good condition. May show signs of wear. Please pay attention to the photographs.
