These chairs were produced in the 1990s and distributed by mc selvini, milan. Original label present.

among hans j. Wegner's most recognizable designs, the "wishbone chair," model "ch24," was designed in 1949 and owes its name to the distinctive y-shaped element supporting the backrest. These eight chairs are from a later production in the 1990s, as also documented by the label of mc selvini, a historic milanese design retailer. The black-stained wooden frame is defined by a continuous, curved backrest, which extends laterally to form the armrests, and by a y-shaped central support. The seat is made of traditional woven paper cord, also black, arranged in a geometric pattern that creates an interesting contrast with the curved lines of the frame. The monochrome finish accentuates the chair's essential design and the continuity between its various elements. Good condition. May show signs of wear. Please refer to the photographs.
