The three-seater "Eva" sofa develops Bruno Mathsson's research into ergonomic shapes and the possibilities of curved wood. Three adjacent modules, joined at the bottom by long crosspieces, maintain a clearly recognizable layout of the individual seats. The laminated beech wood processing allows for the curved profiles of the supports and the pronounced shape of the outer armrests. The seats and backrests are instead made of wide woven straps, stretched directly over the frame and able to accommodate the body without the need for traditional padding. The construction thus remains completely legible, clearly expressing the relationship between structure, material, and comfort that distinguishes Mathsson's work. This piece dates back to the 1960s and retains the original "Bruno Mathsson Design – Made in Sweden" branding. Good condition. Shows some signs of wear. Please refer to the photographs carefully.
