The front is accented by distinctive recessed wooden handles, while the body is supported by slender tapered legs.

Made in Denmark in the 1960s, this sideboard features a low, elongated teak body supported by slender tapered beech legs. The front combines three sliding doors with a five-drawer side chest, creating an asymmetrical composition that adds movement to the large teak surface and is one of the most distinctive elements of the piece. The handles, carved directly into the wood with a distinctive geometric carving, recur with the same design on the doors and drawers, contributing to the overall graphic coherence. Behind the doors, the large compartments are organized with shelves, while the drawers feature dovetail joints. The meticulous craftsmanship, the continuity of the grain, and the balance between capacity and lightness of the proportions fully express the functional and formal research of 1960s Danish modernism.
