Made in Sweden for Ferdinand Lundqvist between the 1950s and 1960s, this round coffee table is part of the furniture production of the historic Gothenburg department store, which had its own furniture department managed for several decades by Nils Enström. The coffee table combines an oak frame with a light-colored laminate top, covered with a subtle beige texture and framed by a wooden edge, a material combination characteristic of postwar Swedish furniture. The four legs, slightly tapered at the bottom, connect directly to the circular structure beneath the top and extend laterally across the lower shelf, also made of oak and shaped to match each leg. Wood thus takes center stage in the lower section of the piece, echoing the edge of the top and further highlighting, by contrast, the light-colored laminate surface. Good condition. May show signs of wear. Please pay attention to the photographs. This piece has an attribution mark,
