A beautifully proportioned antique Regency-style armchair, distinguished by its elegant ebonized frame, classical gilt detailing and gracefully sculpted silhouette.
The chair features sweeping open arms terminating in dramatic scroll-form ends, complemented by gilt-lined contours, circular classical paterae and finely turned and fluted legs. Decorative stretchers with gilt-ring detailing further emphasize its refined neoclassical character.
A hand-caned back provides a light architectural contrast to the dramatic black and gold frame, while the generously upholstered seat has been reimagined in a sumptuous deep moss/forest green velvet.
