The bell-shaped shade is pressed glass in a marbleised amber tone, deepening to a rich toffee brown in irregular veining across one side, with a fluted, gadrooned rim.

The base is cast in a dark patinated metal, with a foliate scrolling motif engraved along the length of the column. A stepped, petal-edged collar sits beneath the shade, and the whole rests on a weighted, ring-turned circular foot.

Proportions are compact and well balanced, with the wide shade offsetting the slender stem. Lit, the marbled glass casts a warm, amber glow well suited to a side table, nightstand or desk.

The piece sits comfortably in Art Deco or traditional interiors, and works equally well introduced as a single warm accent within a more eclectic room.
