The top is thick solid resinous wood, stained dark, with the knots left visible — the piece makes no attempt to hide what it is made of. It rests on four massive cylindrical column legs joined by a low H-stretcher with an exposed through-tenon key. Fixed top, no leaves. It comfortably seats eight. A strong, sculptural piece with a deep patina. The kind of table a room is built around. See less
