Eilersen and produced in Denmark … Read more This sectional sofa is the "Lørdagshjørnet" model (Model Belcante), designed by Andreas Hansen for N. Eilersen and produced in Denmark during the 1970s. The design is built from five independent modules that can be arranged freely, allowing the overall length and configuration to be adjusted to the room.

Each module is upholstered in a green wool tweed, with clean, boxy proportions and a plain, upholstered seat and back cushion. The modules sit on a solid stained wood plinth base, visible as a continuous dark band beneath the green wool—a signature detail of the design. A functional highlight includes integrated magazine pockets built into the exterior fabric of the armrests.

Piping runs along the seams of each cushion, and the seat cushions are loose. Underneath, the frame features a woven strap system over a solid pine and beech frame, with the original manufacturer's label and Danish Furnituremakers Control mark still present, confirming production.
