The top is thick with a raw, unfinished edge. The sledge base is where the work is — hourglass-shaped uprights, a circular void cut through each, and a cross-shaped through-tenon key left proudly visible. The mortise-and-tenon joinery is exposed throughout, which is the whole point. Seats up to eight. See less
