The veneer has the swirling, restless grain that only burl produces, and it has been laid to run across all four doors as a continuous field. Running around the doors and the top is a marquetry frieze of stylised leaves — inlaid, not printed — which is what places this piece well above the ordinary run of Italian seventies casegoods. Four hinged doors on rounded columnar uprights, black lacquered plinth, pale wood interior with a shelf in each bay. A generous 201 cm run that works as a dining room sideboard or as a media unit in a large living room. See less
