Its square … Read more An elegant, substantial ashtray made of Italian art glass, most likely from Murano, using the striking sommerso technique.

Its square shape, with rounded corners and very thick walls, gives it an exceptionally decorative character. Layers of intense amber, golden-yellow, and brown glass are embedded in the transparent glass mass, creating a beautiful, three-dimensional optical effect.

The ashtray is also strikingly attractive as a decorative object—it can serve as a small bowl, a container for small items, or a vintage collector’s item.
