The three generously proportioned seating elements feature a characteristic low, rounded form with deep, continuous upholstery across the seat, backrest, armrests and sides. The set is upholstered in its original high-quality, densely woven jacquard fabric with a rich Persian-inspired figurative pattern depicting riders, animals, flowers and small decorative scenes in warm shades of brown, red, blue, green and ochre. The substantial, tapestry-like fabric has a rich texture and appears notably durable, adding further depth and character to the design. The combination of the soft, voluminous shape, continuous channelled upholstery and highly decorative textile gives the set a distinctly postmodern character. The three elements can be arranged together as a large modular seating area or used separately. The seating comfort is very pleasant, offering a well-balanced combination of softness and support: generous and comfortable without feeling overly soft or allowing you to sink in too deeply. The sofa is in good vintage condition. There is some light sun fading in a few areas, mainly on sections that are largely concealed when the modules are positioned together. with this sofa, you bring home a piece you’re unlikely to encounter anywhere else — individual, expressive and anything but ordinary.
