A remarkable piece due to its gray-blue color with cream-colored panels depicting amphorae. A typical example of folk art from this period and region. The chest is entirely in its original condition, with original hardware and lockable with the original, imposing lock. The interior is fitted with a clothes rod. The chest shows a few sporadic signs of old woodworm damage but has been fully inspected and treated. Moreover, there are so many beautiful, refined details to discover that it is difficult to capture them all in photographs.
