A remarkable piece thanks to its beautiful folk art painting featuring colorful floral panels and richly detailed marbled decorations all around. The chest is in its original, well-worn condition and has a lovely weathered patina that gives the piece a great deal of character. The chest has been fully inspected, treated for old woodworm damage, and finished with a transparent layer of beeswax to preserve the original painting. The original decorative moldings show some signs of wear but have been preserved with their highly decorative marbled painting. Inside, there are two clothing rods that were added at a later date. An authentic and decorative piece of furniture with a particularly beautiful patina. 177 cm high, 137 cm wide, 58 cm deep. See less
