This iconic Italian Midcentury Modern white eclisse lamps were designed by Vico Magistretti in 1965 and have been produced by Artemide. The design won the Compasso d’Oro Award in 1967 and became a keynote of Italian design worldwide. Eclisse represents the balance between form and function, design and utility. A table lamp that can also be wall mounted and a moveable inner shade that can provide direct or diffuse light.
The Eclisse Tale Lamp is part of the most important Design Collection Museums as the MoMA in New York and the Triennale Design Museum in Milano. This pair is an old edition in very nice condition with some wear and minor bumps on the backside due to their age, please have a look at the pictures, fully marked on the underside. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
however it is well documented in design history. I take full responsibility for any authenticity
