An impressive and exceptionally large vintage Italian carved wood mirror, circa 1980s. This substantial statement piece features a beautifully executed faux bois textured frame accented by a hand-carved rope motif, culminating in a distinctive central knot detail.
Bench-made and hand carved, the frame combines the organic character of faux bois with classic nautical ropework, giving the mirror a sophisticated Coastal, Nautical, and Palm Beach Chic aesthetic. Its dramatic scale makes it particularly well suited as a focal point over a console, mantel, or in a large entryway, living room, or coastal interior.
The reverse is stamped “Made in Italy” and retains an order number stamp, confirming its Italian manufacture.
