I found this pair of matching Mersman 8202 step-end tables at the local Goodwill and knew they could not end up in a land fill! They needed some TLC but had solid structure, original hardware and brass ferrules.
These have been stripped, stained in rich walnut, sealed and oiled inside and out. The original chrome pulls and tapered leges with brass ferrules are intact and look great. The drawers slide smoothly as well.
Clean, solid and ready to use as a living-room end table or nightstand. Typical light vintage character expected for 60-year-old pieces; no structural issues.
