This distinctive artwork of two women laying back to back is the work of artist Huberto Maestas, a prominent American sculptor based out of San Luis, Colorado.
While he is most internationally renowned for creating the monumental bronze Stations of the Cross Shrine in Colorado, he is also highly celebrated for his figurative studio bronzes and bas-relief works that elegantly capture human movement, fluid forms, and smooth anatomy set against deeply texturized background fields.
The sculpture is over 14 inches by 11 inches and weights over 10 pounds. The back has hooks for hanging on a wall.
