Presenting a magnificent and highly decorative vintage Chinese hardwood display stand, also known as a "Bogujia" (Curio shelf).

Crafted from dense, richly grained Huali Rosewood with a beautiful, warm reddish-brown patina and clear "ox-hair" grain, this stand features a classic staggered "high-low" asymmetric design. The interior is divided into several shelves, designed to elegantly display small treasures, snuff bottles, teapots, or miniature sculptures.

The most striking feature is the exquisite reticulated (openwork) carving adorning the railings on every level, creating a delicate, geometric fretwork that adds depth and visual interest. A small, concealed drawer is built into the base for extra storage. The stand is built using traditional mortise-and-tenon joinery, ensuring structural integrity.

Condition: Excellent condition. The wood is solid and sturdy. The delicate openwork carvings are fully intact and well-preserved. The shelf is tight and stable, and the drawer slides smoothly.
