Pair of vintage 1990s IKEA Frosta stools crafted from laminated birch plywood with sculptural bentwood legs. The minimalist form draws directly from Alvar Aalto’s iconic 1930s stacking stools for Artek, translating the Finnish modernist design into IKEA’s accessible Scandinavian aesthetic.
Lightweight, sturdy and fully stackable, the stools also work beautifully as occasional or side tables. The Frosta has since been discontinued and has become increasingly collectible as an example of vintage IKEA design.
