"Big Pill" Cupboard

Design & Details: The cupboard has a white lacquered MDF circular exterior shell, and opens to reveal a vibrant red-painted steel inner structural shelf. Its geometric, capsule-inspired silhouette perfectly blends high-end German manufacturing with iconic modern Italian minimalism.
Functional: Perfect for modern bathroom designs, entryways, or high-design minimalist spaces.
Fun: It looks like a big aspirin, which made me smile and purchase it as soon as I saw it.
Reversible Feature: The symmetrical design allows the unit to be flipped so the door can open either from left to right, or right to left, depending on your space.
Design Notes: Produced for a limited time between 2001 and 2009.

There is also often a lack of storage space for the countless bathroom utensils that are always just standing around in the way and leave a messy impression. I am the original owner and purchased this piece new from the former design boutique Retromodern in December 2001 (retromodern.com/Atlanta storefront). It was wall-mounted through 2008, and stored safely after that when I didn't have the right wall space for it. I didn't want to give it up, kept hoping for the right space, but it is now time. Enjoy it, I certainly have.
Included Documentation: Comes with product labels, and the manufacturer's assembly manual. A digitalized copy of the original purchase receipt is available to upon request.
Assembly: It comes fully assembled.
Installation Note: Mounts via heavy-duty slots built into the back. Mounting materials are not included. I hung it myself twice, but the materials ended up in a box with others, so I cannot distinguish.
Free local pickup is welcome and available in the Boca Raton/Palm Beach, Florida area.

There are no imperfections or signs of wear visible when the piece is mounted on the wall or under examination in any position. The structural integrity is entirely intact, and the circular door opens and closes smoothly exactly as designed. For total transparency, there is one very small paint chip located on the inside of the door; it is approximately 1/16" in size (it may show as a small mark in a photo). The white paint color remains unaffected, and it is completely hidden from view when the cabinet is closed. less
