“Interlude” — Original Abstract Triptych by R. Lawson
Striking vintage three-panel abstract painting titled Interlude by artist R. Lawson. The composition continues across all three canvases, featuring a sophisticated neutral palette of white, gray, taupe, beige and brown with warm ochre/golden and rust accents.
The right panel is signed “Lawson” at the lower right. Original surviving labels on the reverse identify the artist as R. Lawson and reference Soicher-Marin, Inc., Culver City, California 90230. The labels also identify the work as “INTERLUDE” and show Style No. SPCL 007 A. Portions of the original labels remain attached to the backs of the canvases and are shown in the photographs.
This is a coordinated three-piece triptych and is being sold only as the complete set. Each canvas measures approximately 30 inches high × 22 inches wide, giving the three panels an approximate combined canvas width of 66 inches when placed directly together, before allowing for any desired spacing between panels.
The paintings have been stored for many years and remain in overall good vintage condition. As expected with an older work, there may be light signs of age, storage, handling, surface wear or minor imperfections. Please review all photographs closely, as they form an important part of the condition description.
