This very interesting French patinated antique bronze horse and rider depicts the rider pointing to something. To me, he appears to be a military figure, but I have not done enough research to identify the uniform.
Country of Origin: France.
Medium: Patinated Bronze.
Size: 6 inches tall (15.25 cm); 5 3/4 inches wide (14.5 cm);
Signed: "Boyer" on Base;
Dated: Impressed "REGISTERED 9 NOV 1852"
Condition: Medium brown patina. Expected marks, scratches and light wear.
Provenance: Andrew Jones Gallery, Los Angeles, California.
