The deep oxblood glaze — running from near-black at the base to a rich burgundy red at the neck — is characteristic of the dramatic drip-glaze technique that defined scandinavian studio ceramics of the era. The ribbed lower body adds sculptural weight to an otherwise elegant silhouette.
rewired with a hand-braided red textile cord, chosen to echo the warmth of the glaze. New handmade linen shade by hakonsen design, crafted in denmark — a considered pairing that lets the ceramic base remain the focal point.
