Rolf Benz has been manufacturing in the Black Forest since 1964, and this model showcases a deliberately understated side of the collection: no sharp corners, no sharp edges, but rather a construction entirely of soft, contoured lines. The armrests curl inwards at the ends, the backrest rises in a gentle curve, and the upholstery is divided into sections that are clearly visible beneath the black leather. The footstool adopts this principle precisely: the same panel division, the same continuous beaded edge as a base, the same slender metal feet. Placed in front of the armchair, it extends the seating area into a chaise lounge; freestanding, it serves as an additional seat or, with a tray, as a side table. Both pieces are fully upholstered, allowing for flexible placement.
