The … Read more Set of six Spanish-style carved oak chairs, 1950s–1960s A set of six Spanish-style oak chairs dating from the 1950s–1960s. The high backs feature a central panel carved with a rosette surrounded by foliage motifs, surmounted by a curved crossbar adorned with volutes. The seats are made of straw and are in good condition. The turned and baluster-carved front legs are paired with a scalloped front crossbar. Braces connect the base, while the golden-hued straw seats contrast with the brown tone of the oak. The backs of the chairs remain unadorned, with no carving. A set with a warm character, ideal for use around a large table in a hacienda-style or country-chic dining room.
