Elegant bronze ballerina with a multicolored patina, poised on pointe, mounted on a marble base.
This sculpture is signed H. Fournier (Hippolyte, 1853-1926).
Minor wear to the patina and small chips to the marble base.
Art Deco.
Hippolyte Fournier was a renowned French artist who exhibited landscape and portrait paintings at the Salon des Artistes. He is also known for his sculptures in the Art Deco style.
