The … Read more Two-section, stepped sideboard in carved oak, Spanish style, 1960s Spanish-style oak sideboard from the 1960s, featuring rich Renaissance-inspired decoration. The lower section opens to reveal three drawers and three doors carved with rosettes, scrollwork, and foliage motifs. The upper tier, set back from the lower section, features doors adorned with carved panels and napkin-fold motifs. Two turned baluster columns, decorated with foliage, support a molded cornice accented by a frieze of volutes. Ornate hinges, keyholes, and dangling wrought-iron handles complete the ensemble. The scalloped and carved lower rail adds an elegant finishing touch to this piece with its architectural lines. The brown and golden hues of the oak give it a warm presence, ideal for a hacienda-style dining room or a country home. Signs of wear and few small marks are visible on the wood.
