Schiavoni f. 1842", attributed to the celebrated venetian painter natale schiavoni (1777-1858), an artist particularly appreciated for his portraits and refined female figures, which earned him the reputation of "painter of the graces."

the painting depicts a young woman in half-length, elegantly reclining on a large red velvet cushion. Her pose, studied yet extremely natural, features her right arm bent to support her face, while her left hand, adorned with a ring, rests lightly on the cushion. The young woman gazes directly at the viewer, accompanying it with a subtle smile that lends the composition an intimate and seductive quality. Her clothing contributes significantly to the image's allure. The figure wears a light white dress with a low neckline, flowing softly over her shoulders. A sumptuous ochre shawl, embellished along the edge with an elegant embroidered band, drapes over the dress.
