The cabinet exemplifies … Read more In 1993, Swiss designer Peter Pfister, together with the company Wendepunkt, designed the practical rotating cabinet "Torno." The cabinet exemplifies sustainable design and social responsibility. It is made of recycled cardboard and was produced by the Wendepunkt Foundation. This Swiss organization supports people who have difficulty gaining a foothold in the job market. Inside the cabinet are three screwed-together shelves made of raw MDF (medium-density fiberboard). The handles are made of stained spruce. The cardboard components are painted dark red. The "Torno" cabinet is in excellent condition. The interior is very clean and odor-free. Height 180 cm.
