The embellished edging (border) forms a beautiful contrast to the center and creates a transition at the edge of the … more The embellished edging (border) forms a beautiful contrast to the center and creates a transition at the edge of the rug. In the middle of the central field of this Kerman is the symmetrical center, also called medallion. The design of the field is arranged in such a way that it gives the impression that the medallion is floating on the field. The luxuriant flower motifs of this Kerman are elegant and varied. The graceful vegetative symbols representing flowers, leaves and branches are artfully intertwined. The background of this Kerman is wine red. The border features dark blue, olive green and pink. The dark blue center combines the colors pink and beige. This Kerman has had admirers before you. It was hand knotted about 1930. It has been thoroughly cleaned and only partially restored condition but is in good condition. We have not completely restored this Kerman because we think it is as it is effect. The pile of this Kerman has been hand-knotted from high-quality virgin wool. Virgin wool is obtained through the gentle shearing of sheep. Virgin wool is a sustainable, natural raw material with a number of impressive properties; due to the wool's natural fat content, the surface repels water droplets and is thus naturally impervious to dirt. Wool also offers excellent thermal insulation, has a regulating effect on living climate and muffles sound. The weft and warp threads of this Kerman are made of cotton. This versatile material is tear-resistant and stretchable and, therefore, ideal for a durable backing fabric. less

Orders where Free Local Pickup or Seller Managed Local Delivery were selected:
- Upon inspection, If you decide not to move forward with the purchase, you or your agent must refuse the item at the time of pickup/delivery from the seller
- Once you have taken possession of the item, all sales are final
- International, cross-border returns may require different processes depending on the countries between which the item is shipping to/from, and the buyer is responsible and duties (if applicable, on cross-border orders).
- On approved returns, the buyer is responsible for the full cost of return packing and shipping.
Cancellations
