The crystal is attributed to RCR Cristalleria Italiana, formerly CALP – Cristalleria Artistica La Piana, of Colle di Val d’Elsa, Tuscany, based on the period, crystal formulation, and distinctive deeply cut wheat, palm, and botanical decoration. Founded in 1967, RCR became one of the best-known crystal producers in Colle di Val d’Elsa, a historic center of Italian crystal manufacture.

Each tall cylindrical glass is decorated with a bold cut botanical motif that wraps around the body and catches the light beautifully. The combination of clear crystal, graphic cutting, and polished silver gives the set a refined Italian modernist presence.

The silver mounts are hallmarked 800 and ★ 587 FI, identifying the silverwork as 800/1000 silver by Vincenzo Cei of Florence. All glasses retain their original gold labels reading “Lead Crystal 24% PbO.”

Elegant and substantial, these glasses work beautifully as highballs, water glasses, cocktail tumblers, or display pieces for a vintage bar.

Condition
Very good vintage condition. Minor patina and fine marks to the silver. Crystal appears bright and clear. These glasses appear to have never been used. Please review all photographs closely for condition. See less
