Hand-finished with detailed repoussé grape clusters and leaf vine appliqués surrounding the exterior bowl, this piece celebrates the blessing over wine (Borei Peri HaGafen). The rim and flared foot base are trimmed with fine woven basketweave band borders. The interior of the bowl retains a rich, vibrant gold wash (vermeil) lining, traditionally applied to preserve the purity of the silver against acidic ritual wine. Raised on a pedestal stem with a turned central knop, this piece carries substantial weight in hand and displays excellent craftsmanship.
