Sculptural brass wall sconce built from wide polished brass ribbons folded into an interlocking ogee lattice — four teardrop openings radiating from a central medallion, with a pointed finial top and bottom. Four brass candle cups on projecting arms.
Designed by David M. F. Chan and Michael L. F. Chan; the modular ribbon element is covered by U.S. Patent 4,025,012, filed 1975 and granted 1977. Labeled Mascot International, Inc., Item 16VS, with the U.S. and Canadian patent numbers stamped on the back. c. 1977–80.
