Pair of Italian-style carved wood table lamps in the altar pricket form. Fluted baluster column with a lobed acanthus cup and a carved fruit-and-leaf swag at the midpoint, over a stepped square plinth with gadrooned edge, lattice-carved panels, and scrolled paw feet. Finished in warm gold leaf over gesso with antiqued glazing in the recesses.
30"H · Base 7" diameter. With Shades $36" Tall 16" Wide
Includes two pleated silk shades with carved gilt finial. Gilding intact and even across both, with light rub at the high points consistent with the finish.
