Pair of Italian-style carved wood table lamps in the altar pricket form. Fluted baluster column with lobed acanthus and lotus swells, rising from a scrolled tripod base with fleur-de-lis panels and carved paw scroll feet, topped by a wide turned bobèche platform. Finished in silver leaf and cream paint over gesso, with the red bole ground worn through at the high points — the traditional gilding build, not a printed finish.
37.5"H with shades · Shades 18" diameter · Base 10" diameter
Includes original pleated silk shades and wood finials. Finish is intentionally distressed and consistent across both.
