Description:
Presenting a magnificent and highly decorative vintage Chinese hardwood cabinet. Crafted from dense, richly grained Huali Rosewood with a beautiful, warm reddish-brown patina and clear "ox-hair" grain, this chest features a classic architectural structure: two pairs of double doors flanking two central drawers.

The front panels are exquisitely carved in deep relief. The top section features doors carved with "Antiques" (博古图) motifs—vases, ruyi scepters, and floral arrangements set within geometric fretwork borders. The central drawers are carved with auspicious scenes of pines, plum blossoms, and rocks. The bottom doors depict a figure with a toad (Liu Hai), a symbol of wealth and prosperity. Each panel is fitted with an aged bronze/iron lock plate, and the base is accented with brass corner guards.

Condition: Excellent condition. The wood is solid with a beautiful natural patina. All carved details are crisp and intact. The doors and drawers slide smoothly. Minor surface wear and slight oxidation to the hardware, consistent with age and use. No structural damage. Please refer to all photos for exact condition.
