Matching pair of solid polished brass candlestick-style table lamps with classic turned baluster columns, knops, rings, and weighted round bases finished with black felt. Each lamp has a single medium-base socket, brass harp, and decorative finial.
The standout feature is the pair of original vintage cream/ivory knife-pleated fabric shades. These empire-shaped shades retain their sharp, directional knife pleats and are still sealed in the original protective plastic wrap, remaining in essentially mint, unused condition. The crisp pleating diffuses a warm, flattering light and elevates the lamps far beyond typical replacement shades.
The lamps retain their original green-and-clear striped cords with polarized plugs and are in working condition.
Based on the heavy solid brass construction, turned design and overall quality, these are very likely Baldwin Brass (or made in the same American tradition).
No maker’s mark is present.
Ideal for traditional, Colonial Revival, or transitional interiors.
